Welcome Home is a ministry that celebrates one’s release from incarceration. We know that in many situations when someone is incarcerated, they are finally able to ask Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. Upon being released, we want to help them continue their walk with God.

A lot of the issues they face are quite specific, so Welcome Home is sensitive to those needs as we seek God for guidance into their given situations.

We want to be a place where families of the incarcerated can come for support as well. When someone is incarcerated, the whole family suffers and often times, they can feel alone, like no one else can relate to this pain. On our team, we have people who have been through it all and we have seen and felt how God can intervene and bring the peace that surpasses all understanding. We’ve seen how the Comforter moves in these situations. So our heart is to walk with them also.

There are certain obstacles for people once they get out… So we try to assist them by plugging them into Christ centered places that can help them get a job, mentoring and housing. We don’t do job placement or housing, but we are connected to Christ centered reentry organizations that do.
