Missions And Local Outreach
A Heart For Missions
If you have a heart for missions you’ll want to see what God is doing through ResLife!
Every week we share the solid biblical teachings we get from Pastor Duane Vander Klok through the ministry of Walking By Faith.
Teachings are broadcast around the world via television and the internet.
ResLife supports missions and missionaries in locations all over the world including Mexico, Poland, Pakistan, Russia, India, Guatemala, the Czech Republic and more. We also help support the World Missions initiative for Treasure audio bibles that bring God’s word translated in native languages.
A percentage of every offering goes to support missionaries and mission organizations across the world.
Our outreach ministries bring the gospel to some of the unique challenges our community faces every day.
ResLife supports 17 west michigan local outreaches including the inner city, for both adults and children.
Some of these local outreaches, Dream Center, Street Light, Pregnancy Resource Center and our Food Pantry offer the opportunities for you to be involved.
The Grand Rapids Dream Center is a movement that builds trusted relationships through weekly consistency and authenticity inside the communities of our city. Our heart is to lead people to a totally committed relationship with Christ. We do this by mobilizing God’s people outside the church walls through multiple outreaches and impacts in the areas of community, delivery, and learning.

CAP: CHILD ANTI- EXPLOITATION PARTNERSHIP
Through ResLife’s sponsorship and Crisis Aid, the CAP program works with local law enforcement. The Children’s Anti-Exploitation Partnership (CAP) Program here in West Michigan is located inside the Wyoming Police Department. This program helps police officers connect children and teens identified with at risk behavior and their families to a CAP advocate for counseling and mentorship. ResLife funds this program through Crisis Aid International to manage and staff it to the highest capability. Since opening, the CAP Program has counseled over 100 girls and family members. This is a tremendous blessing in our community!
Help those in need in the Grand Rapids area by bringing in items to stock our Food Pantry shelves. Your donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the Food Pantry table in the Ground Floor concourse (by the stairs) at any time, or on weekdays at the front office (door G) during office hours.
Street Light is an inner-city outreach with opportunities for ministry to adults and children including Bible study, a coffee house, hamburger night, and street evangelism. We have many opportunities for ministry. We’re looking for volunteers who have a heart for people.

When a family is in crisis, kids can become vulnerable to neglect and abuse. No family should experience this.
Through the Safe Families for Children ministry, volunteer Host Families offer loving care to parents, watching over their children while the parents regain stability.
Res Life also supports Safe Families through Bethany Christian Services. Safe Families for children keeps families together during difficult times.
Consider volunteering* with our Compassionate Support Services at the Pregnancy Resource center either behind the scenes or directly with our moms.Visit PRC / Volunteer for more information on our volunteer opportunities.
