WHAT WE BELIEVE
We Believe …..
The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages.
The Trinity: We believe the one true God manifests himself in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Deity of Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His complete conquest over the powers of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return in like manner as He went away.
Salvation: We believe that the new birth is essential for salvation and that this salvation is wholly by grace through faith.
The Church: We believe the church consists of all those who truly believe in Jesus Christ and in His atoning death, and who trust in Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, born again Christians as enabled to live Godly lives.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit: We believe in a second experience following the new birth, which is referred to as the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This experience is not required for the new birth but is pertinent to living a successful and impactful life in Christ. (Matthew 3:11 & Acts 2:4)
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit: We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 are available and operational in the body of Christ today.
Healing: We believe that redemption was provided for the spirit, soul, and body in the atonement of Jesus Christ.
Baptism and Holy Communion: We believe in the ordinance of Baptism in water (by immersion) in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, on the authority of Jesus name. We also believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion.
Heaven and Hell: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they are lost unto eternal damnation; they that are saved unto eternal life.
If you just received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Pastor Duane wants to include you in his prayers and send you a download of his book, “YOUR NEW LIFE”. If you are unsure of your salvation, know this:
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
You don’t have to wonder whether or not you’re right with God. You can know that you have eternal life! We invite you to pray this simple prayer from your heart:
Dear God, I believe that Jesus died on the Cross, that He shed His precious blood and paid for my sins. I receive Your forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead, victorious over death, sin, and the devil. I turn my back on my old ways, and I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I’m not going to live to please myself any longer. I’m going to live for Him every day. Jesus, I am Yours, now and forever! Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing my prayer. My past is gone, my sins are forgiven, I am Your child, and part of your eternal kingdom – in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Water baptism is a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus Christ and what He has done in changing your life. It’s an outward sign of an inward decision.
After you trust Jesus as your Savior, the Bible directs you to be baptized in water. This public proclamation of your identity as a follower of Jesus acts as a symbol of His powerful changes in your life. Scriptures say, “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:4)
If you have not been baptized since you believed, we invite you to do so at our next Celebration Baptism Service. We look forward to standing with you as you publicly declare your decision to follow Jesus!
