Get to know the Nursery Team
Pastor Carson Doll has been a part of ResLife for 15 years and has been the Nursery Pastor for 5 years. He and his wife, Shelby, are blessed with three great kids–each of them a testament to God’s love and healing power.
Cierra Echebelem has been serving in the Nursery for 3 years. Her heart is that every child grows up knowing they are deeply loved by God and confident in their identity in Him. She loves to worship the Lord, bake sourdough, read, and be outdoors. If she could hang in a hammock in the woods and read all day, she absolutely would.
Jen Blauwkamp is a part of the Nursery Team. She and her husband Dan have 5 amazing kids and 2 dogs (Ruby and Penny). She loves playing pickleball and is passionate about serving people.
Dessie Minnie has been on staff with the Nursery for 14 years and loves meeting and getting to know all the families and kids here in the Nursery. Dessie has attended Res with her family since moving from California as a young child. She and her husband, Jason, met here at Res and now have 5 kids.
Jesse Fellows has been a part of Reslife for eight years, served in the high school ministry for six, and has recently come on staff in the nursery. He and his wife, Kait, welcomed their baby girl, Daisy, home at the start of 2026 and are so grateful for their growing family.
Pastor Nate from ResKids will visit the 4, 5, and 6-year-olds entering kindergarten for two consecutive weeks to introduce himself and talk about ResKids.

Pastor Jesse Cabrera
Get to know the ResKids Team
Jesse Cabrera has been a part of pastoral staff for 16 years, having served as a Youth, Generations, and Lead Pastor. He oversees ResKids, where he is dedicated to raising the next generation of believers and ministering to children of all ages. Pastor Jesse and his wife, Mari, have been married for 18 years and have four children.
Victoria Hernandez has served in the 3rd–5th grade ministry for over six years and leads with a passion for ensuring every child, volunteer, and family member knows Jesus deeply and experiences His love daily. She loves ministering alongside her husband Victor and their 3 wonderful children.
Lexi Schutter has been a part of the ResKids staff for six years. Lexi manages the administrative operations for ResKids, where she provides leadership for the Awana program and serves as the Kids Camp Admin. She and her husband, Mitch, have one daughter, Iris.
Sandy North has been a member of the ResLife staff for 20 years, including 15 years spent in the Nursery/Preschool ministry. Sandy currently provides administrative support for ResKids and oversees the ResKids Impact program on Thursday mornings. She and her husband, Mike, have two children and one granddaughter.

Pastor James Hall
Get to know the Middle School Team
Pastor James has been serving as the Middle School Pastor for four years. He is married to his beautiful wife, Jax, and is blessed with three kids: Jane, Jay, and John. Pastor James loves his family deeply. You’ll most likely find him watching (or playing) sports, going on adventures, shredding in dodgeball with the students, or reading. He has the biggest heart to serve and love God’s family. The youth is blessed to have James!
Ayden grew up at ResLife Church and has been working with middle school for over a year now. She loves the outdoors, music, volleyball, coffee shops, and one of her favorite hobbies, baking sourdough bread! She is passionate about people and passionate about Jesus. Getting to work alongside her team in ministry with the youth has been a deep joy
Adele recently married her husband, Justus Chupp, and they both enjoy serving together with the middle school students. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing pickleball, and exploring new coffee shops. One of her favorite ways to spend her evenings is in the 180, connecting with all the students. Adele is passionate about the next generation and seeing them encounter the Lord!

Pastor Ben Lepsch
Get to know the High School Team
Pastor Ben and Kendra have been leading the Youth ministry together for over 10 years! They LOVE coffee, the outdoors, and reading! Most days at home are filled with their 4 kids (5th one is on the way) doing lots of crafts, playing with Legos, and reading so many books together!
Kyme has been serving in the Youth for over 5 years. She has been married to her husband Brian for 3 years. She loves exploring new restaurants and watching Michigan Football and Basketball. Kyme can solve a rubik’s cube in under a minute, loves coffee, and enjoys fishing!
Braden North has served in the Youth since he was a student in the Youth! If you have ANY questions about the Bible, Braden is your go-to guy; he runs our bible study every week. Braden loves to learn and is currently in school to be a teacher!

Pastor Jared Blauwkamp
Get to know the Access Team
Pastor Jared has been serving with the Access ministry for the past 3 years. The Lord has placed a love in his heart for this Young Adult’s age. He desires that each Young Adult would grow into all that God has dreamed them to be. He loves playing his guitar, getting lost in the woods, and a good competition. If you know of a pick-up basketball game or a game of Settlers of Catan nearby, let this man know!
Katlin has been serving at ResLife since 2010. Katlin has worked in the Oneighty, Ground Floor, and Reskids, and Access. Katlin loves spending her time with her Husband John, 2 kids Amina and Jace, and her dog named “Joy!”. You will find her practicing coffee latte art, flying down the street on her rip stick with her kids, playing badminton, or kayaking.
Access will welcome the High Schoolers who graduated in 2026 on Thursday, June 11.
