What We Believe

We believe in the Bible’s authority, the Trinity, salvation through faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit’s work, and our mission to worship, teach, and serve.

We believe...

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God by which we test and determine what is good, right, and true.

Deut. 4:2; Josh 1:8; Ps 119:11, 89, 105; Rom. 15:4; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; Heb. 4:12; Prov. 30:5; 1 John 4:1; Gal. 1:8

We believe and worship one God in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity, being eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Gen. 1:1-3; Matt. 3:16-17

We believe in eternal redemption by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; being empowered by the Holy Spirit in this present age and adopted as children of God and Co-Heirs with Christ in His Kingdom.

John 14:6; 1 Pet. 1:3, 23; Eph. 2:4-5, 8-9; Rom. 10:9-13, 5:1, & 6:23; Acts 2:38

We believe that Jesus healed the sick when He was on earth, and He still heals today. God wants us to be healed—body, soul, and spirit—and He empowers believers to pray for healing.

Mark 16:17-18; John 14:12; Luke 9:1-2; Matt. 10:5-8; Luke 10:9; Matt. 28:18-19; James 5:14-16; Ps. 103:2-3; Isa. 53:3-5; Matt. 4:23-24; Acts 10:38; Heb. 1:3; Heb. 13:8

We believe in the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception to natural death. We value all human life, which is created in the image of God, and further stand to protect innocent life.

Gen. 1:26-28, 2:7; Ps. 139:13-16, 127:3-5; Jer. 1:5; Is. 49:1, 5; Gal. 1:15

The Christian life is the life that responds to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him, receiving by grace forgiveness and a new identity in Christ, trading the old life of sin for God’s righteousness. This is walked out by putting aside our own way and desires to follow Jesus. It is marked by God’s love and the fruit of the Spirit in us.

Eph. 1:7, 2:5, 2:8-10; Acts 2:38; Col. 1:13-14; 1 John 1:9, 8:31-38, 13:35; Heb. 10:17; Rom. 10:9, 12:1-2; 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 5:22-23; 2 Tim. 2:1-2; Col. 3:1-17; Luke 9:23-24; Acts 1:8; Col. 1:28-29; 2 Cor. 5:17-21

We believe the Church IS NOT a building, but IS the gathering of those who believe in Jesus Christ and confess Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

Matt.16:18; Acts 2:41-47; Heb.10:25; Eph.1:22-23 & 2:19-22 & 3:9-10; Col. 1:18; 1 Pet. 5:1-5

We believe in the existence of Heaven and Hell as eternal dwellings, along with the Resurrection and Judgement to come for ALL people either unto eternal salvation in Heaven present with God, or eternal damnation in Hell separate from God.

Matt. 25:46 & 31-46; Heb. 6:1-2; Rev. 20:10-15 & 21:1-4; Rom. 6:23

We believe in the Holy Spirit who presently indwells, empowers, and enables believers to renew their minds, live Godly lives, minister in power and love, bear fruit, and exhibit the marks of righteousness with accompanied signs and wonders.

Acts 1:8, 2:17, 2:38-39; John 14:16-17, 14:26, 16:7; Gen. 1:1-2; 2 Sam. 23:2; Isa. 11:1-2

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His complete conquest over the powers of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return in like manner as He went away.

 John 1:1-5, 14; Col 1:15-20; Heb 1:3; 4:15; Phil 2:5-11; John 14:8-9; John 10:30; Acts 10:38; 1 Cor 15:4-7; Rom 8:34; John 14:2-3; 1 Thess 4:14-18; Heb 9:28; Matt 24:27; 25:31-46; Luke 17:24;

We believe in the sanctity of each individual’s God-given biological gender, which is determined at conception.

Gen. 1:27-28, 2:18-24; Ps. 139:13-16; Deut. 22:5 (BBE); Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Cor. 6:9-11

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, also known as the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This experience is not required for salvation but is pertinent to living an active, successful, and fruitful life in Christ. While this can happen at salvation it is more often subsequent to salvation.

Matt. 3:11; Acts 1:4-5, 1:8, 2:4, 8:12-17

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as written in 1 Corinthians 12, which are available and operational in the body of Christ today.

1 Cor. 12:4-11, 14:1 & 5; Acts 1:4-5, 1:8, 2:17, 10:38; John 14:12, 16:7

We believe in the ordinance (Sacrament) of Baptism in water (by immersion) in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, on the authority of Jesus’ name. We also believe in the ordinance (Sacrament) of Holy Communion.

BAPTISM: Heb 6:1-2; Matt 28:19-20; Acts 2:38, 41, 8:12, 10:48; Rom. 6:3; 1 Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:27

COMMUNION: Matt 26:26-29; Luke 22:14-23; 1 Cor 11:23-26; Acts 2:42

We believe in the traditional Biblical viewpoint of marriage, which is a covenantal union between one man and one woman. Further, sexual union should only take place within the context of this monogamous marriage.

Gen.1:27-28 & 2:24; Eph. 5:31; Lev. 18:22 & 20:13; Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Cor. 6:9-11,18 & 7:2

The Four Pillars Of

Our Mission

WORD

We teach the Word of God in practical, relevant, teaching styles to impact lives around the world. We are known as a source for solid Biblical teaching that is easy to understand and practical for daily living. Listen in on a service.

WORSHIP

Simply put, worship is pleasing God. It’s what we were born to do. We worship God both through our lives and when we come together each week. One way we do that is through music. With the power to affect young and old, music helps turn hearts toward God.

GENERATIONS

We’re partnering with families in training up the next generation. From six weeks old to college-age students, we have a place for every age to find a personal connection with God and grow in that relationship.

MISSIONS

Through community and world missions, we provide opportunities for the love of Christ to be shared all over the world through prayer and resources.

Salvation

You don’t have to wonder whether or not you’re right with God. You can know that you have eternal life! We invite you to pray this simple prayer from your heart:

Dear God, I believe that Jesus died on the Cross, that He shed His precious blood and paid for my sins. I receive Your forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead, victorious over death, sin, and the devil. I turn my back on my old ways, and I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I’m not going to live to please myself any longer. I’m going to live for Him every day. Jesus, I am Yours, now and forever! Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing my prayer. My past is gone, my sins are forgiven, I am Your child, and part of your eternal kingdom – in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you just received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Pastor Duane wants to include you in his prayers and send you a download of his book, “YOUR NEW LIFE”. If you are unsure of your salvation, know this:

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

We would love to see you on sunday!
